Project Summary

The Taj MG Road, Bengaluru, a 5 star hotel in Bangalore, is a reflection of city’s cosmopolitan flavour. With the entrance of the Silicon Valley of India, it has embraced change. From laidback to quick-paced, from local to global, from the traditionalist to the modernist, but always welcoming. Its décor mirrors this change with its chic, new age furnishing. The modern grande facade powered by combination of Triple Laminated Glass and High Pressure Laminates exhibits modernism with Heritage flavour.

Key Facts and Challenges

• The biggest challenge was to do construction of the façade in an operational hotel.
• For the same, the programme was planned to be to done in two parts effectively meaning the half of the Hotel was cordoned off and constructed first then the later half was built.
• Immense operational challenges such as no obstruction or discomfort to guests, accessibility to location and many more were overcomed with strong forecasting and meticulous planning and execution.
